What Are Canned Emails? And Do I Really Need To Use Them?

Canned emails are the same thing as form letters. They are pre-written responses to typical questions you often get repeatedly in email. This way you don't have to waste the time to personally answer all of your emails.

Especially after you send out a big ad to your whole email list, you're going to usually get more questions that you could personally answer.

That's where your canned email folder comes in very handy. Your canned email folder is kind of like a Frequently Asked Questions area for your email. When someone asks me a question about doing business with me or about a product feature, I just immediately look in my canned response folder to see if I already have an answer written and ready to go. I usually do, but in the rare case that this question has not been asked before, I will have to personally write a response to it. But now I add that personal response to my canned email folder and the next time someone asks that question, I won't have to personally answer it again.
