Mr. Makepeace claims to have made $1 million every year since 1997 and that by using his methods, you as a copy writer can do the same. In the past, marketing copy writing concentrated on providing the benefits of a product to persuade the consumer to buy. Clayton, however, states that this is no longer the way to go and that is part of his success. There are those who feel that his style, which is sometimes described as over the top works well for mail order which is his specialty but not necessarily for other types of marketing.

From my research, Clayton Makepeace is a very successful copywriter and does have many valid tips and resources. I feel that the information provided in his newsletter and articles is something worth tapping into.
