Conversion rates are a big topic these days. When running a website, most people focus entirely too much on one factor that may determine their conversion rate. In reality, conversion rates are determined by number of factors.
Tracking your conversion rate is an important factor in running a successful ad campaign. This will eliminate advertising that is not effective and promote advertising that is working.
A conversion rate is simply the percentage of visitors who took the next action. Whether this is buying a product, signing up for a newsletter, downloading a program, etc.

Attracting the right visitors (targeted traffic). Attractiveness of the offer ( a good sales copy). Easy to navigate (not complicated). Relevancy of next action (staying on topic).
