Copying Headlines From Other Advertisers
If you're not very good at coming up with headlines of your own, a good trick is to get a few magazines that are completely outside your industry and find headlines that seem to grab your own attention. Find headlines that already use a lot of powerful catch words like the ones in the list above. Then since the ad you just found has nothing to do with your product or service, you can just re-write it to reflect your own industry, product, or service. By getting the ads from a magazine that has nothing to do with your industry, you won't have to worry about getting into trouble for copying headlines.
But some times I live life on the edge and I just get start copying headlines from marketing magazines that are in my industry and use them anyway. I just re-write them enough so that I can't be accused of copying.
