Creating Your Own Competition

Internet marketers often tend to think they need to constantly keep improving their one existing website in order to keep growing their business. It's nice to do updates to your website but don't fall victim to the kind of tunnel vision that causes you to keep trying to make a good website better and better. Because often times there's not much more you can do to improve it. So when you have one website finished, try to get into the habit of creating your own competition.

Create my own competition! What is this guy nuts?

Really, it makes perfect sense. If you have one successful site in one industry that you know very well, you can quickly make a similar website with a very similar product or service on it. By creating new websites that appear to be a completely different company, you begin doubling and tripling your odds of reaching the entire audience of your target market. I have over 10 websites that all look completely different and almost appear to be ten different companies. I have them all linking to each other because this serves two purposes.

1. Linking all of my websites increases my popularity on search engines and causes the search engines to list me in the top spots. Search engines absolutely love when your website has many other websites in the same industry linking to it. They also value your website more when you link to other popular websites in the same industry.

2. The second major bonus of having multiple websites competing against each other in the same industry is the fact that even if a prospect doesn't buy anything on one of my sites, he/she is likely to eventually buy something from one of my many other sites in the same industry. Each of my websites presents the product or service using a slightly different sales approach because just like with fish, not all of them bite on the exact same bait. The point I'm trying to make to you is that having multiple websites in the same industry that appear to be competitors is like having a big fishing net. I almost guarantee myself a much bigger piece of the pie when I have so many websites right in front of my readers noses.

Another benefit to having multiple websites is the fact that they can all share the exact same secure order page which will make your life even easier.

Since I review business opportunities and internet gurus all day for a living, you can guess I know which ones work and which ones don't. Click here to see how I make my money.
