Dan Franklin
I hate to bash him but Dan Franklin allegedly ripped off investors and then disappeared. Many people bought into his Personal Wealth System for $250 to $300 and felt cheated. "The outdated tapes and manual (copies of copied paper slapped into a STAPLED 3 ring binder) is outdated by 10-15 years," says one investor.
Franklin says he started out from poverty stricken roots and worked his way to massive wealth through real estate investment by his 30s. At one point, Franklin was selling one day seminars and a home study program called the Personal Wealth System by advertising on TV/radio, and by cold calling people to pitch his system.
One of my business associates did some research on Dan to find out what his past customers had to say about him. Below is what my associate now posts on his website.
One investor who was sorry to have ever heard of Dan Franklin says: "There was really nothing in his 'system' that was difficult to figure out without the use of his tapes or kits. The reason I purchased it was due to the promise of being able to call him on his 800# once I completed the tapes so he could help me get started. I made over 14 telephone calls to him. To this day, my calls have not been returned." Someone else who bought Dan
Franklin's
program and attended his seminar had a similar experience: "He seemed to have been a honest guy. But several months after purchasing the program, the guy disappeared."
Dan Franklin had so many angry customers, he made it to the Better Business Bureau hall of shame. One of the main complaints about him was that he never called you back after you'd bought his course.
