More Advice On Email Advertising

Don't even think about becoming a spammer. Just completely forget that idea because it causes major problems for those who get involved with spam. A lot of things in marketing sound like a good idea in theory, but testing later reveals that poor results are achieved. Just like offshore investing. It sounds good and logical, but it's a big mistake just like spamming is. Just remember there is big difference between email advertising and spamming.

But again, remember, just because you never spam doesn't mean you can never blast out thousands of email ads to your own list of business contacts. I outlined above how easy it is to set up multiple lead generation websites that serve only one purpose. And that is to get readers to enter their name and email address at the website so you can email them as much as you'd like later on. As long as the people have agreed to let you send them future news and announcements then it's not spam. Yes, there is a difference between email advertising and spamming.

Don't confuse spamming with sending email ads to your own list of business contacts. They both sound very similar but they're not. Spamming can get you in legal trouble and get you fined thousands of dollars. Bulk emailing to your own list of business contacts will never get you in trouble or cost you any money. Just be sure that your lead generation websites specifically state that you have the right to send anyone who submits their email address future news and announcements. If you don't notify them of this and you send them emails, without their persmission, then you're a spammer and you're going to experience complaints. But you'll even experience something far worse than just spam complaints. You lose any reputation you've worked hard to develop online.

To avoid being labeled as a spammer, you can put this in the fine print or in your "Terms and Conditions" or in your "Privacy Policy" so it doesn't scare people away. Just remember there is big difference between email advertising and spamming.
