The Right Way To Do Email Marketing Without Being An Idiot Spammer!

Now when I say the term "Email Marketing", most of you are probably thinking I'm talking about spamming. But again, I'm not. It's perfectly legal, ethical and acceptable to create your own lead generation website. What exactly is a lead generation website? A few examples of lead generations websites are:

1. Websites that offer you a free subscription to their ezine or newsletter.

2. Sites that offer you a free ebook or software download in exchange for your name and email address (along with your permission to send them email announcements in the future.)

3. Websites that offer you leads or traffic in exchange for you to become a lead yourself and giving them your name and email address.

4. Websites that are having a contest. These sites let you participate in the contest, but of course you'll need to give them your name and email address to enter the contest.

All of these four email marketing methods above are excellent examples of lead generation websites that do nothing more than collect giant lists of email addresses purely for the purpose of advertising to that giant list. You can create your own lead generation websites and capture thousands of email addresses a day just like all the other successful internet marketers are doing. Here's a challenge for you. Try to find a successful internet marketing making more than six figures a year who doesn't capture the names and email addresses of everyone who visits their website. You won't find one! They all do it!

You simply can't rely on just a one-time click you get from a search engine or any other ad you have on the net. People are not likely to buy anything from you the first time they visit your website. Here's a fact: It takes an average of 7 exposures to your website before a reader or prospect will purchase anything from you. That obviously means if you just rely on a one-time visit from all your ads, you're not going to make very many sales.

The internet marketing experts know that in order to make great numbers of sales, they must always follow rule #1. Rule #1 is this: "Always capture the name and email address of every visitor that comes to your website." Do anything and everything you can to get their name and email address.

The internet marketing experts know that to make most of their sales, they will need to email their offer to the reader or prospect at least 7 times. Yes, continuous email marketing is the key.

Let me give you an example that helps this all make even more sense. Imagine you spend $50 on a paid PPC search engine and you get 500 visitors as a result of that $50 you spent. That's a great result but it could be much better. Because lets say you didn't capture their names and email addresses. That would mean you paid $50 for a one-time ad to 500 people. Well, by simply getting the names and email addresses of those people you can now advertise to them many more times in the future. So now you've paid $50 and instead of just the one time exposure, you now get the chance to send them your offer again and again until you get many more to purchase from you.

So you can now see how that process of capturing their names and email addresses actually makes your advertising dollars go a lot further. You can literally get 10 times the amount of advertising for the same amount of money when you use this technique.

And you'll make disgustingly obscene amounts of money when you start finding new products or services and making new offers to that same list of yours. These people will be your customers forever as you keep selling them one product or service after another.

That's what I do. About every month I come up with a new offer such as a new book, software, product, service, or even an affiliate program and I offer it to the people on my master list. That's why your list will be like gold to you. Your list is your business!

You can start several new businesses and just blast a notice of these new products and services out to your list and you'll always be able to keep growing your company while even adding more people to your list. Yes, your list keeps growing, your products keep growing and most importantly, your income keeps growing!

I some times mail out to my list as often as twice a week. But I usually get my best results when I keep my mailings at about once a week.

Coming up with new products to offer to my list is simple. I can create a new book or audio cd roms where I teach marketing secrets in a few hours of my time. And I can immediately begin marketing that new cd or book to my list and make up to $7,000 pure profit from that one mailing. And I can keep selling that book or cd I made for the next six months. It's just that easy to make new products and get them sold quick. Hopefully you now have a much better understanding of email marketing.
