Ken McCarthy
Ken McCarthy's growth has been simultaneous with the online era as he has
been on the cutting edge for almost all new trends on the net such as BBS,
Online banner ads, web sites and web based marketing strategies. Marketing Solutions, a company started by Ken as far back as 1989, was
geared towards providing small and medium style businesses the opportunity
to learn more about direct forms of marketing which they could then employ
to grow their own business.
As the internet became a more serious opportunity, Ken McCarthy formed
E-Media which identified new profit opportunities for businesses via the use
of online media. Since Mr. McCarthy already had experience with most
traditional forms of media, he was able to understand the pros and cons of
each type of media outlet, and saw the internet removing most of the cons of
traditional media with ease. This was another reason why Ken was keen on the
internet as the next generation media. Truly one of the first to realize
this.
Mr. Ken McCarthy started experimenting with the internet during his days at
The Princeton University when it was still called ARPANET. McCarthy's years
at the University saw ken dabbling with small time musicians and organizing
concerts etc. This was a sure sign of Ken's creative mind as he diligently
went on to form two companies which merged creativity and technology
together, and helped many companies harness the power of the internet to
help them better market their business.
Ken McCarthy always appreciated creative people and ensured that his solutions used technology only as the base of delivery and not the base of
creativity. Ken continues to be a well accepted speaker at most seminars
relating to his subject matter expertise.
