Kevin Meyers

Kevin Meyers main focus is in "rehab" properties. Meyers teaches real estate entrepreneurship and appraisal courses at a community college in Albuquerque. Kevin is also the author of a book called "Buy it, Fix it, Sell it, Profit!"

More recently Kevin Meyers has teamed up with another real estate guru, Lyn Carter, to put together a real estate investment course. It's a "12-Step Investment System" and it's called "Our Unique Foreclosure Warrior." It costs just under six hundred dollars.

If you're familiar with all the books by the various real estate gurus, you may notice that Kevin Meyers' book is titled painfully similar to Robert Irwin's book, "Find It, Buy It, Fix It". Mr. Meyer's book is good value for money and mostly OK. but there's not much original new material in it. Like so many others, it's mainly the same stuff you see in similar publications. I want ground-breaking, earth shattering new ideas. Not the same old same old. One of my business associates tells me Meyer's course is average. I'm currently waiting for a copy so I can tell you all my own personal opinion of it.

Kevin now has a group of companies called StreetSmart Real Estate, Inc., which he operates out of Albuquerque, NM. Kevin Meyers has his MBA and is a former military officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. He started investing in real estate some time around 1985.

Kevin Meyers doesn't charge nearly as much money for advice as most of the other real estate gurus. But you know the saying...You get what you pay for. After I've finished his course I'll post my thoughts about the quality of it here on this page. I'm hoping it's better than what I've heard about it.
