Nationwide Newspapers is a reseller for newspaper advertising space. They of course markup the prices but also due to their volume you may be getting a better deal by going through these types of newspaper ad brokers. Because of their enormous volume, you can get some pretty good deals on classified ad listings if you're trying to get national exposure with little effort. This kind of advertising can also be a great help when you want to reach people in a specific area especially in a specific time of year (like advertising a vacation resort in winter in the Northeast when there's a storm).

Sure you can call newspapers and place ads but if you need to reach a really big audience then it would be very time consuming to search for every college student newspaper to place a Spring Break vacation ad. Of course when using Nationwide Newspapers or any newspaper ad broker, be sure you'll have enough room to get your message across, and always include a web site URL so people can get details. This could be good for lead generation if you're only licensed to sell insurance in a particular state, for example.

Also when using Nationwide Newspapers, the circulation claims are just people buying the paper, not how many people are going to see your particular classified ad. Still, I would recommend Nationwide Newspapers if you need a large audience based on geography or other demographics like college students. It's not for every business, but Nationwide Newspapers is a big time saver when you want to advertise in 20 or 100 different papers without having to do all the legwork of placing 100 different orders. Nationwide Newspapers along with most newspaper ad brokers is a great idea. I recommend them.
