Neuro-Linguistic Programming
Look up neuro-linguistic programming on a search engine and get ready
for
a lot of different results. You'll see businesses who will train you in it
for better interpersonal skills, firms claiming they are "certified"
neuro-linguistic programming experts when I don't know of any such
certification program (probably they made one themselves) that's
recognized by the psychology community. You'll see ads for using it to
attract women, stop bad habits, and just about everything else.
There's also neuro-linguistic programming seminars which are quite
expensive, and I was unable to find any concrete information on these
except they will change your life, etc. as well as training to become a
teacher of neuro-linguistic programming, there's no real information on
what that entails either. Most of the sites I've seen promise the moon,
and I couldn't find one single scientific study of the techniques. There
isn't even a clear description of what neuro-linguistic programming is,
just that it's going to cure you of phobias, make you able to do
incredible things, a wonderful person, etc.
I'm sorry but after doing a lot of research I simply can't find any
credible source for information on neuro-linguistic programming, only the
people selling training or certification (from them of course) in it and
promising the moon.
