What Type of Domain Name Makes Money?
How Do You Pick A Good Domain Name? When choosing your domain name, don't get something long just because it says what you want to say. For example don't get something like: www.thecheapestmarketing.com
That's just too long and not easy to remember. Try to pick a short 2 word
domain. For example, a few of my short domain names that make me a good
income are: www.RoyaltyWare.com, www.OnlyReviews.com, www.ProgramReview.com,
www.DesktopSnooper.com and those names do the job and work well because they're easy to remember and look nice both in print ads and in online ads.
When You Choose A Domain Name, Always Pick a .COM Type Name
The domain name that ends in .com will always be taken the most serious.
All the giant corporations own the .com version of their domain name. It's
because .com has been around the longest and it's the original commercial
format that makes it the most trusted. Your readers and prospects will give
you a lot more credibility when your name is a .com versus a .biz, .info,
.cc, .ca, .net, .org, etc. And it doesn't cost any extra money to get a
.com domain name so be sure your name ends in ".COM"
I know it's more difficult to find a good .com name that you like and want,
but if you can't find the one you want, just pick some unique combination of
2 or 3 words. If I wanted a .com domain name right now, I would just go to
AlwaysFun.com and start looking up combinations of words that are not often
used such as GreenTuesday.com Or PerfectPebbles.com Or even
RedBananna.com ---Those names may be already taken but they are just
examples of the types of names that will be easier to get.
I know those names may sound a little odd, but didn't the name "Yahoo" sound
odd the first time you heard it? It really doesn't matter what your name is
as long as it's fairly short and it's a .com name.
