Free Search Engines
by Jason Ryan Isaksen
And don't just give up and forget about free search
engines and free search listings, because they're still an important
part of your over-all advertising campaign. Even though they're a pain
in the rear like I said above, they still have a strong place in
internet marketing.
Because even though free listings can take a very
long time to show up, and even though there's no guarantee where you'll
show up, you'll eventually show up somewhere. And it's still free! And
it's these free search engine listings that will supplement the high
cost of your paid listings on the PPC engines. All successful internet
marketing plans contain a careful mix of free listings and paid
listings. Either one by itself is simply not enough.
If you only signed up for free search listings, you'd
end up not getting enough traffic and even if you did get enough
traffic, you'd have no security that your listings will stay there.
Your free listings can be bumped off or down at any time without notice
and so anyone who tries to survive purely with free listings is taking
a big gamble. Don't gamble with your finances. Go with an approach that
has proven it's stability.
If you only signed up for paid listings, there's a good
chance there will come a time when you can no longer afford them. So
this hybrid combination of paid and free search engine listings creates
a well balanced advertising machine when done right. And that's what I
strongly recommend for your own marketing campaign.
Of course, you'll be using many other marketing
techniques to even further enhance the strength and power of this
marketing method, but we'll talk about those techniques in the pages
ahead.
By the way, if you need help optimizing your website to
get it better ranking on the free search engines, let me know.
