Other ways to add marketing content to your website
by Jason Ryan Isaksen
If you research the news going on in your industry and
write up an article
about the latest marketing news, that would be very effective content.
People are always looking for news about their industry(your industry.)
If you don't have the time to write about news you found
doing research, you
can always just link directly to the news links that will educate your
readers about marketing trends. But the only problem with linking to
the
original source of the news is that you may end up losing your readers
to
that new website you just sent them to. So that's why I always re-write
the
news in my own words and use my own words as content on my own site.
That
keeps my readers on my site where they belong.
Another idea for content is to take pictures of events,
new items, unique
items or anything related to your industry. Then put those unique,
educational, interesting pictures up on your website. It's kind of like
news in picture form.
Not only can you take pictures of interesting items and
events going on in
your industry, but you can also write about a certain process within
your
industry that shows you are truly an expert in your field. Yes, you can
write about how a product is manufactured and take the reader
step-by-step
through the whole production process. People that are interested in the
industry will find the manufacturing process to be very fascinating.
Just like when we were kids in school and they showed us
things like how
roads are made, how a car is built on an assembly line, how candy is
made,
how food is processed, etc. As humans, we always want the inside scoop
from
someone that has actually been on the inside to see it first hand. So
be
sure to add good solid internet marketing content to your website and
you'll
have plenty of fresh leads coming to your website daily.
