Writing Your Free Content With High Search Engine
Ranking In Mind
by Jason Ryan Isaksen
When writing the free content for your website, keep in
mind that the search
engines scan your website to see what words tend to be repeated in your
website. For example, if you mention the term "Business Opportunity"
seven
times on one of your web pages, the search engines are going to be
likely to
show your website when someone types "Business Opportunity" into that
search
engine. If you take this page for example, I say the term free content
and
I'm guessing that's the term you typed to get this web page to pop up.
The only way a search engine can tell what subject
matter your website is
about is by looking for a high percentage of the same word or words
repeated
more than once. It just makes sense that if the word "Restaurant"
appears
on a single page of my website more times than any other word, my
website is
probably about restaurants. So the search engine now knows that your
website should be listed under the keyword "Restaurant" So when people
go
to a search engine and type the word "Restaurant" your website should
come
up. It's much more difficult to get your website listed than the above
example, but if you're a beginner, that's all you need to know for now.
Getting top rankings on search engines is much more
complex than just the
amount of times you say a word in your free content, but it does play a
major role in it. I'll teach you more about how to get top ranking
search
listings toward the end of this course, but for right now I'm staying
focused on "Writing your free content."
