Bulk Email

As you probably know, bulk email has a few differnet names it goes by including, spam, email marketing, opt-in mailing, permission mailing, safe list, mass email, broadcast email, etc.

Back in 1995, 96, 97, 98, and even part of 99, bulk email was a very effective way to market your business. These days, I woudln't recommend it to my worst enemy. The anti-spam force is very strong and extremely aggressive. These anti-spammers will especially cause your business problems if you send out pure spam that is not even targeted to a niche audience.

If you just go out and buy a list of millions of email addresses and start spamming your ads out, you're making a big mistake. Not only would you run into legal problems and anti-spam attacks against your business, but you'd be lucky if you even made enough money to buy groceries.

These days, there is far too much competition in the world of spam and test after test shows that it's getting even less effective every day.

There is another form of email marketing called "opt-in mailing" or "permission based mailing" that does work however, and it's legal. As the names imply, opt-in mailings and permission based mailing both mean that you are sending to a list of people that have either requested to be on your mailing list or have given you permission to email them ads or news from time to time. Newsletters and Ezines are a great example of permission based mailing.

Starting your own Ezine or Newsletter list to send bulk email is the single most effective method of advertising you'll ever find. These people want to hear from you and want to hear what you have to say, including your advertisements. Not only are they a great way to advertise via bulk email, but they are also completely legal, moral and ethical in every way.

You can actually grow your list into the hundreds of thousands and make a big popular name for yourself on the internet this way. Growing a large Ezine list or Newsletter list has brought hundreds if not thousands of men and women fame and fortune on the net. Most of the famous marketers I review at this website reached their celebrity status and high income levels by the strict and dedicated use of their newsletter.

Most successful marketers these days fully know and understand that the only way you're going to be able to send bulk email is if you do it in the form of a newsletter or ezine. And boy does it work!

Let me know if you need any help setting up a newsletter or ezine. I've been doing this for over 7 years now and I consider myself an expert on the subject. I can help you select the most effective bulk email software for your ezine/newsletter and show you how to get up to 1,000 people a day signing up to be on your list.

If however, you have no interest in starting an Ezine or Newsletter and you just want to send out bulk email unsolicited, you had better make sure your list is comprised of people that are extremely involved in your industry. For instance, if you sell golf clubs, you could talk to other companies that have have lists of golfers. Or better yet, they may have a list of golfers that have purchased something golf related within the past 6 months. These lists are generally small yet incredibly effective. A list like this could contain 5,000 email addresses and cost you about $500

If someone is trying to sell you a list like that for only $19 then something is wrong meaning the list is probably not golfers but just a random bunch of email addresses. A cheap fake list will do nothing for you but get you plenty of complaints and get your internet accounts all canceled. So do your homework and research to find quality companies that provide high quality lists of people that would definitely be interested in what you've got.

Keep in mind, I don't recommend mailing to a list you have purchased at all, but I only gave you that advice above in case you are going to do it anyway. The above advice will at least help to keep you out of trouble. And help is the keyword there, because you can easily get into trouble with a list you have purchased. In my opinion, collecting your own email addresses from your own website and creating your very own opt-in or permission based list is the only way to go.

Since I review business opportunities and internet gurus all day for a living, you can guess I know which ones work and which ones don't. Click here to see how I make my money.
