ReferralWare
I recently signed up with referralware and I think the
referralware people completely took advantage of me.
Here's how their system is supposed to work. Referralware
represents about 3 multi level marketing companies.
Referralware claims to have checked these companies
out thoroughly before hooking up with them.
So when you sign up at the referralware website, you
start out by simply paying them around $19.00 per month
just to be a member. This membership fee gives you
a bunch of bonuses that are available to you in the
members only area. There is actually some good reading
material in that members only area. But you don't have
to pay to get it. When I signed up as a free member, I
had complete access to all or most of their bonuses.
I should have quit while I was ahead and kept their free
bonuses and left forever.
But being the optomist that I am, I gave referralware the
benefit of the doubt and continued on with their program.
After you sign up, referralware immediately starts urging
you and practically begging you to sign up with all three
of these multi level marketing companies they are teamed
up with.
They tell you that if you want to make any serious money
that you'll need to sign up with at least 1 of those 3 companies.
But even after I signed up with the first company, they
immediately began telling me to sign up with the 2nd
company. Then of course after I signed up with the 2nd
company, they kept telling me to join the 3rd company.
So I ended up joining all three of these companies. Now
keep in mind, that each one of these companies charges
a fee to join. And each company except for one charges
you a monthly fee to stay in the programs. So for many
people this now means you are being billed by referralware
each much plus at least 2 of the other companies each
month. This means you have a bunch of your own cash
going to all these guys each month, but as a beginner,
you're probably not making a dime yet. At least I sure
wasn't. I can't speak for everyone of course.
The referralware representative that signed me up told
me that I'd never even have to work for all the money I'd
make. They said I had the option to sign up for what they
called the "Passive" version of their system which I was
told meant that I would not have to do any work. Their
rep told me that I would basically get to collect leads that
referralware would give me and these leads would just go
right to my website and sign up. And I was told that each
time a new person signed up under me I'd get paid for that.
And that if that person went on to sign up for all 3 other
mlm companies, I'd get even more money. This all sounded
great to me. In fact looking back, it sounded far too good
to be true. And I believe it was too good to be true.
Here's why. First of all, the leads that I was told I would
get every day weren't free. I had to pay around $130.00
for 50 leads. I think that's extremely expensive for leads.
Keep in mind, these are just leads. Oh, referralware calls
them guaranteed sign-ups because they are guaranteed
to sign up under you. That may be true but they are only
guaranteed to sign up as a free member under you. And
you never get paid a penny from free members.
But again, I gave the system the benefit of the doubt and
I purchased 50 leads from referralware. Out of those 50
leads, only 1 person actually signed up as a paid member
under me. And I had to call the guy on the phone and
practically beg him to sign up.
After one whole month(30 days) of being a member of
the referralware program, I had spent around $400.00
between signing up with all their companies and buying
leads. After all that time and money spent, I only had
one paid customer to show for. I got paid about $11 in
commissions for that one customer.
Now keep in mind, I'm no dummy. I have been on the
internet since 1995 and I can prove to anyone that with
other systems I'm involved in, I've made at least $100,000
every year and in 1998 and 1999 I made over $200,000
So I know how to make excellent money. You might be
asking why I would sign up with referralware if I was
already making so much money. That's simple! I wanted
more! Everyone wants to be a millionaire. I'm no different.
So I try lots of different money-making programs and sytems
all the time. I know some work and some don't. You'll never
know which ones work if you don't try a bunch of them.
So I don't mind the fact that I lost money with Referralware.
Referralware wasn't the first money-making program I lost
money with and it certainly won't be the last. My main
objective is to be involved in more winning programs that
losers. And I have been fortunate enough to be involved
in the 5 different money making programs and systems
that turned out to be winners. These 5 systems combined,
are currently paying me up to $200,000 a year. And while
I'm still not a millionaire yet, I'm definitely going in the right
direction
Since I review business opportunities and internet gurus all day for a living, you can guess I know which ones work and which ones don't. Click here to see how I make my money.
