Norman Vincent Peale was a clergyman, author of 46 books including "The Power of Positive Thinking" which has sold millions of copies worldwide. His work is influenced by modern psychology, religious teachings, and self improvement techniques which have been studied for decades. Norman Vincent Peale is one of the early pioneers of this type of teaching. Some of his religious beliefs are controversial, but if you're looking for a book on developing a more positive outlook, "The Power of Positive Thinking" has withstood the test of time as have many of his other books.
