Psycho-Cybernetics

Dr. Maxwell Maltz is the author of the book Psycho-Cybernetics, a self-improvement book which includes several subliminal tapes to reprogram yourself for success. Like all other subliminal tape courses there is no scientific evidence I've ever seen that shows these are effective. In fact I've tried some in the past and got no benefit whatsoever from them. If you could really reprogram yourself with these, everyone would use them and most social problems would go away. You'll hear people quoting subliminal messages that were used in a movie theater many years ago and the increased concession sales of soda and popcorn that they say resulted. The problem is with courses like Psycho-Cybernetics that audio subliminal messages simply are not effective in my opinion (having tried them) and trying to get someone to change all their life habits is not the same as trying get them to buy popcorn with some visual messages embedded into some movie frames.

Psycho-Cybernetics makes the claims of all the other self help programs out there, but I found the quotes and information on their site less than convincing. This is another program that if it was half as effective as advertised would have been embraced by the medical community long ago as a cure for many of lifes problems. The one red flag is that they claim that 30 million people have studied his materials, but there's only about a dozen testimonials listed, it just doesn't add up.

Since I review business opportunities and internet gurus all day for a living, you can guess I know which ones work and which ones don't. Click here to see how I make my money.
