RealtyTrac Inc. is a database that provides listings of properties available for sale as a result of foreclosure or auction. RealtyTrac Inc. states their database with over 500,000 properties from every state is a premier listing of auction, REO properties and pre-foreclosures. The RealtyTrac Inc includes information on real estate investing, sponsored links and related e-books as well as the option for real estate agents to become RealtyTrac Agent Network members.

Realty Trac Inc.'s affiliate program is free to join and they state sales earn a $17 commission while leads earn a $7 commission with all the tools needed to get set up included in the RealtyTrac Inc. Affiliate Marketing Starter Kit.

There are a number of people who claim they purchased the list from Realty Trac Inc. only to find that the properties on the list were either no longer available or had already been sold because the list was so out of date. In my opinion, it is better to get these kinds of lists directly from the source, banks, realtors, etc... than a company like RealtyTrac Inc because then you can verify the list is current and accurate.
