Rich Dad Poor Dad

Robert Kiyosaki is the author of "Rich Dad Poor Dad" a book he states is designed to enable anyone to reach financial success by first changing your attitude from one of a poor person to that of a rich person and then learning how to handle your finances properly.

In "Rich Dad Poor Dad", Robert Kiyosaki lays out the story of his life starting with his own father, whom he states was extremely well educated and who used his education in his career but yet never could earn enough money to support his family. Robert then goes on to tell about his friend's father, a man Robert says was like a second father to him, who was a multimillionaire despite the fact that he only had an eighth grade education.

Many of the reviews of "Rich Dad Poor Dad" are positive and it is not hard to find many glowing testimonials. There are other people who express the opinion that the concepts laid out in "Rich Dad Poor Dad" are vague and some go so far as to say invalid while others tend to question the existence of the fabled 'rich dad' since he is never identified in the book.

If nothing else, the advice in this book regarding taking charge of your finances and learning to be financially literate may be worth reading Rich Dad Poor Dad.
