Ron LeGrand is very similar to Carlton Sheets in the way that he teaches a no money down real estate technique designed to make you a solid income. Real Estate guru, Ron LeGrand has three books he sells for around $600 each. LeGrand makes a special deal to his customers that if you buy two of his books, you get the third one free. Obviously this saves you around $600.

But the big question is this: "Are his books really worth $600 each?"

The prices these real estate gurus charge for their information makes me laugh. I think the course by Carlton Sheets is just as good as the one by Legrand and you can get it for less than $200. I really think it's not much different from what LeGrand gives you. LeGrand's course is good quality, but why pay so much when Carlton Sheets has over 20 years experience at the same thing. If you read my review of Carlton Sheets, then you already know that I don't like real estate as a business, but if I were going to get involved in it, I'd definitely buy Sheets course over the LeGrand course.

LeGrand separates his books into three different categories. One book is for people that want to do "For sale by owner" transactions. The next book deals with retail and wholesale and the other involves Lease/Option. I should caution you that these books are very thin in my opinion. Especially thin when you're paying up to $600.00 a book. I want a big fat book for that price! LOL

Ron LeGrand says each of his books is like a "Business in a Box" and I think he's saying that any one of his books could make you a good income. If I personally spent over a thousand dollars to get all three of his books, I'd want to at least be able talk to Ron Legrand himself over the phone for a hour. I think he should at least let you attend one of his seminars at no extra charge.

Also, LeGrand teaches how you can be pulling in a substantial income in very little time. He seems to focus on how quick you can make money with real estate, but anyone who's made serious money in real estate will tell you that it takes months and some times years before the big money comes in.

If you have plenty of extra money laying around and you want to learn from all the big names in real estate, then I'd get these books by LeGrand. But I would first start out with the course by Carlton Sheets to test out this type of business to make sure this is really something you plan on getting serious with. Like I said earlier, not many people who buy these types of courses make a six fugure income. People like Carlton and Ron have years of experience and they work up to 12 hours a day. They've both put in thousands of hours driving around the streets looking at properties. They've both put in thousands of hours on the phone and both spend thousands of hours sitting at a desk. Don't kid yourself into thinking this is going to be easy.

If you absolutely love real estate and this is definitely what you plan to do for a living, then I recommend this. But I wish you'd look into something that's easier to make money with. There are so many better business opportunities than this kind of "no money down" real estate stuff.

Since I review business opportunities and internet gurus all day for a living, you can guess I know which ones work and which ones don't. Click here to see how I make my money.
