Sea Silver

SeaSilver USA is a network marketing company promoting a liquid dietary supplement. The SeaSilver supplement is now listed as a product to replace pills or tablets, in the past it claimed to cure many diseases.

Sea Silver USA claims their product is a nationally recognized brand, they also go on to state that becoming a independent representative for SeaSilver USA include niche market programs, free back office applications and a free product coupon program, marketing support provided by live operators as well as online and follow-up with new customers.

SeaSilver USA has had it's share of bad press, in 2008 the FTC teamed up with the FDA in a coordinated action against SeaSilver USA and Americaloe, Inc. their owners. The allegation made by the FTC was that SeaSilver USA was using the false claim that clinical tests had proven the product to treat or cure over 650 diseases like cancer and diabetes. Sea Silver USA entered into a settlement with the FTC to pay $4.5 million and settlement with the FDA required the mislabeled products to be recalled and destroyed with all further false claims to cease and desist.

This is still being marketed today, however, the claims made are those of general health, and is structed as a typical MLM opportunity. I don't recommend SeaSilver.
