Valuable Content

It's so important that you have the proper content on your website in the proper order, that I'm going to take this moment to remind your website must have the following items in the following order:

1. Valuable Content: Your website must have free educational, instructional, informative, helpful advice that would normally cost your readers money at any other website. By giving them this valuable advice and help, you show your readers that you are an expert in your field and that you are very generous. So not only do your readers learn a lot of new exciting, cutting-edge information for free at your site, but they also figure that you probably offer your paying customers a lot when they actually spend money. So since your readers know you're an expert who provides tons of helpful free advice and articles at no charge, you get bet they'll have a strong desire to purchase something from you.

2. Your website must not have a sales letter right on your first page as the first thing your readers see. But you still must have a sales letter. It must be carefully placed within your website so that all readers will eventually see it. But make sure they see your free educational, instructional, informative, helpful advice before they ever see your sales letter. By doing it in this exact order, your readers will think they actually know you and can trust you after they finish reading all your valuable free content. Then by the time they do read your sales letter, you'll have a lot more credibility than the average website that just immediately starts by pushing a sales letter into your face.

3. Lastly, it's critical that you try to close the sale by making your offer a limited time only offer or by offering your readers 1, 2, or 3 bonuses that they will only get if they order by the deadline. Closing also involves telling your customer exactly what to do next if they wish to order. Your customers don't know how to get around your website as well as you do. So you need to explain exactly how to order. Put an order link that says "Click here to order now" and be sure to make the word "here" a hyper or hot link that takes them to your order page. Too many websites just expect that if the reader wants to order, he/she will simply find the order button on your web page. And that does sound logical but your readers are not always logical and the easier you may the ordering process, the more likely they will buy. When I get to the point on my website where I'm trying to close the customer, I usually places several links that say "Click here to order now" all around the end of my sales letter. This way there is no possible chance they can miss it.

Also, remember that part of the closing process also includes offering as many payment options as possible. Give your customer as many ways to pay as you can including, all major credit cards, pay pal, check by phone, check by fax, storm pay, and of course mailing a check through the mail.

But you don't have to do all of those. At a minimum, you need to accept all major credit cards, and give your customers an address to mail checks and money orders. But don't forget to get some valuable content on your website before you do anything else. L...
