TUFF JUG TUFF JUG TJ1R Red Gasoline Fuel Container Review

74%

The first thing we noticed with the TUFF JUG is the design of the spout. It features a section that seals to the tank which prevents spillage. With a capacity of 18 liters it was also able to hold a decent amount of petrol. Pouring was easy and fast and we could add a lot of fuel within a short time frame.

Another feature we liked is the heavy-duty body. However, we didn’t like the quality of the seam. It looked flimsy and could break under pressure which would result in a significant amount of spillage.

Value 4 Money Value 4 Money 10L Petrol Can Review

78%

What we liked with the value for money petrol can is the fact that it comes with an assorted capacity of 5L, 10L and 20L. You can enjoy the convenience of this model even while your gasoline demands are not very high.

The metal construction is also quite ideal as we found that it was able to combine strength and durability while also being lightweight.

The main drawback however was that when storing in hot temperatures, you cannot fill the metal gas can to full capacity as the gasoline will expand. We also noticed that the spout is a bit flimsy.

Wavian Wavian Jerry Can Review

100%

We liked the design of the Wavian jerry can. It is built to accept extension spouts. The thick metal construction makes it even more robust than the value 4 money jerry can. It is also corrosion resistant which meant that we could carry different types of liquid which included petrol, diesel or water.

The Wavian jerry can has a tight closing mechanism which produces no leaks or no fuel smell. The main drawback that we noticed has to do with the capacity. Unlike the value 4 money, this is not the largest gas can.

Kuyal Kuyal Steel Petrol Can Review

66%

What we immediately noticed with the Kuyal Steel petrol can is the size. Unlike the 5-liter Wavian jerry can, this one holds up to 20 liters which made it an ideal choice when travelling large distances. We also liked the handle construction which made it very comfortable to carry.

Another good feature was the extension pipe which minimizes spillage and makes it easy to add fuel to the cars tank. We liked the corrosion resistant coating on the metal frame as well.

However, on the downside we found that the seam running the length of the base makes the gas can unstable. We also noticed that the spout tends to leak.

ASC 20 Litre Red Jerry Can for Fuel Petrol Diesel etc

62%

We liked the 3-handle design of the ASC red jerry can. This made it possible for more that one person to carry the gas can allowing for easy transport. It also comes with a 20 Liter capacity and a heavy-duty metal frame that is coated with corrosion resistant material.

Unlike the Olymstore NATO style jerry can which cannot hold water, the ASC can conveniently be used to carry water. We also liked the locking seal. It provided a tight and secure fit helping to prevent spillage.

On the other hand, it doesn’t come with a long spout. This means that it is not the easiest when pouring petrol into the tank. At 3.8Kgs it is also quite heavy.

XtremeAuto XtremeAuto Green Metal Jerry Can Review

72%

Just like the Olymstore NATO style Jerry can and the ASC 20-liter jerry can, the XtremeAuto green metal Jerry can features a triple handle design. We liked the long spout that reached into the car gas tank to pour petrol effectively.

We also liked the hard metal construction. This gas can looks durable and sturdy. It has a coating that makes it corrosive resistant.

One of the main drawbacks that we found was first, the rubber end of the spout is not held very securely and could fall into the gas tank. Secondly, it was not very easy to open the gas can when we wanted to refill.

Cartrend Unitec 73851 Petrol Canister 10 L Plastic Review

70%

We especially liked how lightweight the Cartrend Unitec 73851 canister is. It is simple to carry especially coupled with its medium 10L capacity. The construction is also thick and looks durable. It is corrosion resistant as well as being versatile as you can use it for water, petrol or diesel.

The main drawback has to do with the spout. You have to secure it tightly in order to prevent it from leaking. The 10-liter capacity is also not the largest and will only prove useful for people with moderate petrol consumption needs.
